The Story

How Vinci started.

Toby Carroll and Max Keable met studying full stack software engineering. They clicked immediately, two people obsessed with technology but from completely different angles. Max approached everything from data integrity, security, and clean code. Toby approached it from design, implementation, and how systems actually work inside real businesses.

After graduating, they went separate ways. Max joined one of Australia's largest mobile app development companies. Toby launched his own consultancy, helping businesses understand and adopt AI before most people knew what a prompt was.

They reunited to build Sloane, an AI platform designed to help users get the most out of AI by teaching it their business from the inside out. This was before memory, before custom GPTs, before any of it went mainstream. They were building in the AI space while most businesses were still deciding whether to pay attention.

Through Sloane, Toby worked directly with over 150 businesses. Not surface-level conversations, real operational deep dives into how these companies ran, what tools they used, where they were bleeding time, and where AI and automation could give them leverage most of them didn't know existed.

The pattern was clear. Small businesses and solo operators were adopting AI quickly. But larger companies, the ones with teams, sensitive data, compliance requirements, and client obligations, weren't. Not because they didn't see the value. Because they didn't trust the safety.

That's when the shift happened. Toby and Max decided to focus where the gap was widest: helping established businesses and corporations adopt AI with complete confidence in its security, governance, and impact. Not just deploying tools, but redesigning how teams operate so every person spends their time in their highest zone of genius.

The name came from that idea. Leonardo Da Vinci, the ultimate example of someone operating at their full capacity across every discipline. Vinci Advisory was built to help businesses create that environment for their people.

Toby Carroll

Toby has worked directly with over 150 businesses across security, trades, marketing, property, finance, agriculture, distribution, and professional services. He leads every Blueprint engagement, sitting with teams, mapping workflows, and identifying the operational bottlenecks that cost businesses time and margin without anyone noticing.

His background is in full stack engineering, design, and systems thinking. But what sets him apart is that he's spent thousands of hours inside real businesses understanding how people actually work, not how an org chart says they should.

He built his first AI consultancy before the market knew it needed one. Now he trains teams on the systems that allow them to 10x their output.

Max Keable

Max is the technical backbone of every system Vinci builds. His focus is data integrity, platform security, and building architecture that doesn't break when a business scales.

After studying full stack software engineering, Max joined one of Australia's largest mobile app development companies, working at the enterprise level on systems built for scale, compliance, and performance. He brings that rigour to every Vinci engagement.

When a client's data governance needs to be airtight, when an integration has to handle volume without failing, when an AI deployment needs to meet SOC2 or HIPAA standards, that's Max. He ensures every system Vinci delivers is secure, stable, and built to last.
